  1. Create and implement succession planning for the CTS and CES organization to include the hiring, development and training.
  2. Develop Long term vision and strategic plan for CTS organization.
  3. Continuation of the US and Canadian Divisions assimilation into one cohesive North American CTS Group. 
  4. The ability to advise and provide leadership on complex technical issues for the Division and interact with cross functional and multi-national work teams.
  5. The ability to lead a diverse and rapidly changing workforce.
  6. Serve as a technical liaison for the PTP (Product & Process Technical Plan) process.
  7. Work closely with Alsip Tech Center Materials Group, coordinating experimental trials with coatings and metals.
  8. Coordinate efforts with Suppliers, Corporate Technology, Manufacturing, Quality, Sales and Customers on qualification of new materials and/or products.
  9. Work closely with Quality and Packaging Performance Group in Alsip Tech Center on claims investigation and resolution.
  10. Coordinate Food division activities for alternative coating technology development and qualification.   
  11. Provide Customer technical support for food processing technology and double seam manufacturing at the customer site.
1.      Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a remote organization.
1.      Customer Focus – this individual must balance Crown and our Customers requirements, and find win-win situations.
2.      Manufacturing savvy/experience
3.      Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
4.      Excellent Communication and Flexibility skills and the ability to work with all levels of the organization, both strategically and tactically.
5.      Minimum 10 years experience in can business
6.      B.S. Degree in Tech discipline, preferably Food Processing or Engineering of Chemistry M.S. / M.B.A preferred.
